OUR PROCESS

When you invite us into your home, we respect that your time is valuable and use it wisely.  Part of that is properly evaluating what your needs are, and working with you to achieve your design objectives from both an aesthetic and budgetary perspective.  For some, the process of having bespoke (custom) work done is new, and so we try to set expectations as early as possible.

We'd like to share our process:

• Design consultation - Our initial consultation with you is about an hour - more if you need it.  It helps us to get to know each other and to understand your design sensibility and objectives.
  
• Professional measuring - Detailed measurements are taken onsite to ensure that proper yardage is ordered and that treatments are made to exact specifications.
  
• Materials (fabric, trim, hardware and additional embellishments) - We have a broad inventory of fabric and hardware books and you can view them in the convenience of your home.
  
• Design and virtual rendering - After consulting with you, we create unique one of a kind designs especially for your windows and home,  and then using advanced industry graphics software, show you how the design will look on your own windows before they are made!
  
• Fabrication (the actual labor involved in making the treatments) - We own our own drapery workroom which is located in Rhode Island, and your treatments are made with exquisite craftsmanship.
  
• Installation - We partner with you to help you hire a professional, insured installer once your treatments have been completed.
